Interactive Installation
The installation explores the tension between nature and human influence. Two opposing projection surfaces present contrasting perspectives: on one side, landscapes appear as minimalist point clouds, reduced to pure data and structure. On the other side, an AI continuously generates new images of nature, oscillating between organic beauty and artificial distortion. The audience becomes an active part of this duality.
Their movements in front of the screens, as well as interactions via a central interface, directly shape the evolving imagery in real time. Each gesture leaves traces, shifts the aesthetics, and alters the digital landscape, making the human role as an intervening force tangible.
Technically, the work was realized using TouchDesigner for real-time tracking and visual generation, combined with AI image generation tools to create the ever-changing nature imagery. The result is an immersive environment that not only represents nature but also makes its fragility and malleability under human impact perceptible.
